Real conversations about the life you're quietly unhappy with. And what to do about it.
No scripts. No performing. Just honest.

Honestly Kristin is my story of building a high-functioning life on top of an anxiety I had been managing since childhood, and only realized at forty-nine, when my husband said he was leaving because he no longer loved me, how much that anxiety had been quietly making my choices for me. The divorce was the moment my own voice finally got confirmed out loud by someone else. The rest of the book is the work of learning to listen to myself again.
The memoir details the slow, uncomfortable, sometimes humiliating, sometimes hysterical work of figuring out, at fifty, who I actually was when I stopped performing for everyone.
